My name is Tatyana Anastasova. I’ve worked in startup finance for the last 11 years across FP&A, reporting, financial modeling, and strategic finance at both early-stage and fast-growing tech companies, including international and remote-first businesses. Over the years, I’ve supported fundraising processes, scaling operations, KPI reporting, forecasting, and building finance functions in high-growth environments.The finance profession is changing faster than most people are prepared for, especially with the rapid development of AI tools and agentic workflows. I built Startup Finances as a place to document and share practical experiments with tools like Claude Code and AI-driven finance workflows — testing how modern finance teams can automate analysis, reporting, modeling, and operational processes in real startup environments. Alongside the blog, I work with a small number of startups directly as a fractional CFO.
